Nature Walk

Part of the 2019 City Nature Challenge

Join Billy Brown, nature writer for Grid Magazine and co-host of the Urban Wildlife Podcast for a nature walk at Fort Mifflin, Sunday April 28th at 10:30 AM. Rated an area of high natural heritage significance by the PA Natural Heritage Inventory Program, Fort Mifflin combines both natural history and human history interest, tucked in along the Delaware River shoreline. As we walk we will document the biodiversity of the fort and its grounds for the 2019 City Nature Challenge (cncphilly.org). We encourage you to download iNaturalist (inaturalist.org) to your phone ahead of time and to bring binoculars. Note that General Admission is required.
