SHOOT! Photography Skills Day

Wondering how to get the most out of the new camera you received for the holidays? Are you looking to expand your photography skills? We’ve got you covered! We are teaming up with our friends at Flintlock Imaging to help you out. Bring yourself, your camera, tripod, accessories and enjoy learning tips and tricks from the pros then practice in the unique environs of the fort.
We are offering two separate groups for those of different levels.

The beginner group is designed to help those who are starting their photographic endeavors. We realize that all the photographic terms and camera settings can be intimidating. Our aim is to work with one concept at a time and give you a basic knowledge of your gear and how to use it to achieve your goals. You will not only get theoretical information, but you will have time to practice and visualize their practical application.

The intermediate group is designed for the photographer who has a basic understanding but wants to take the next step. Have you ever been confronted with difficult lighting, problems with composition, or just not getting the crisp image you want? The photographers from Flintlock Imaging will help you understand and overcome the issues. This will be based on a presentation of more advanced photographic camera settings and techniques tailored to your experience and with your input.

The day will wrap with photo opportunities unique to Fort Mifflin.

Due to our desire to work as much as possible with each attendee, space will be limited.
